On Friday, May 16, former Vacaville High School standout Acacia Anders’ current collegiate team the California Golden Bears won 1-0 against the Omaha Mavericks in the NCAA Division I Softball Championship.

The game took place at Love’s Field at 2:05 p.m. and was the first matchup against the Omaha Mavericks in the tournament.

The California Golden Bears’ next game will take place on Saturday, May 17 at 1:05 p.m. at Love’s Field.
