On Saturday, Feb. 15, former Benicia High School standout Aaron Jenkins’ current college team, the UCCS Mountain Lions, lost 4-3 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Northeastern State Riverhawks.
The game took place at Rousey Field. This was their fourth matchup against the Riverhawks this season.
The Mountain Lions’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 21 at 11 a.m. at Mountain Lion Park against Adams State Grizzlies.
