On Friday, Feb. 7, former Vanden High School standouts Kiah Silva and Mia Zabat’s current college team, the Saint Mary’s Gaels, lost 6-3 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Sacramento State Hornets.
The game took place at Shea Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Hornets this season.
The Gaels’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 9 at 3:05 p.m. at La Rue Field against UC Davis Aggies.
