Solano County had one gas station selling midgrade gas at the lowest price of $5.60 per gallon during the week ending May 16, according to customer reports submitted to GasBuddy.
The county registered an average of $6.25 per gallon for midgrade gas.
Of the 141 reported gas stations located within Solano County, 94 offered midgrade gas.
Statewide, midgrade gas averaged $6.28 per gallon for the week ending May 16, up from the previous week.
Fuel prices climbed sharply in spring 2026 as tensions in the Middle East disrupted global oil shipments and refinery outages tightened gasoline supplies in parts of the United States.
