Cost of college went up for all students at InterCoast Colleges-Fairfield

Tuition and fees rose 6.3 percent for 2018-19 at InterCoast Colleges-Fairfield, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

California students paid $20,400 to attend the two-year private for-profit institution this year – $1,200 more than the $19,200 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 100 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 88 students received grants or scholarships totaling $368,557 and 97 students took out student loans totaling more than $708,341.

Including all undergraduates (189), 165 students used grants or scholarships totaling $670,319, and 184 students took out $1.4 million in federal student loans.
