On Thursday, Feb. 20, former Vacaville High School standout Xochitl Atayde’s current college team, the San Francisco State Gators, won 6-1 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Humboldt State Lumberjacks.

The game took place at Bear River Recreation Center. This was their second matchup against the Lumberjacks this season.

The Gators’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 28 at 12 p.m. at SFSU Softball Field against Cal State San Marcos Cougars.
