On Saturday, Feb. 1, former Vacaville High School standout Xochitl Atayde’s current college team, the San Francisco State Gators, won 4-1 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Concordia Irvine Golden Eagles.

The game took place at OC Great Park. This was their first matchup against the Golden Eagles this season.

The Gators’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 2 at 8:30 a.m. at OC Great Park against Vanguard Lions.
