On Saturday, March 1, former Vacaville High School standout Xochitl Atayde’s current college team, the San Francisco State Gators, won 7-2 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Cal State San Marcos Cougars.

The game took place at SFSU Softball Field. This was their fourth matchup against the Cougars this season.

The Gators’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 7 at 12 p.m. at SFSU Softball Field against Sonoma State Seawolves.
