On Sunday, Feb. 16, former Vacaville High School standout Xochitl Atayde’s current college team, the San Francisco State Gators, won 6-0 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Academy of Art Urban Knights.

The game took place at Pedretti Park. This was their first matchup against the Urban Knights this season.

The Gators’ next game is scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 20 at 12 p.m. at Bear River Recreation Center against Humboldt State Lumberjacks.
