City of Fairfield issued the following announcement on Dec. 3.
The City of Fairfield was a proud partner at the November 21, 2020 Fairfield Community Services Foundation - Food and Mask Giveaway. The event was a drive-through and walk up event that provided local residents in need with free bags full of food, hygiene products, and personal protective equipment including disinfecting products. Additional donations secured free turkeys and grocery gift cards, which pleasantly surprised residents who received them.
The Foundation partnered with the City’s Quality of Life Task Force, Bethel Community Church, Clorox Products Manufacturing, Paradise Valley Estates, Kaiser Permanente, Buffalo MC Soldiers, and Manfred & Hunt, to hold a well-received giveaway event. At the event, a total of 405 families received free essential items. It is community partners coming together at times like these, that truly make a difference in improving the quality of life for its residents.
